Debbie may be on to something here. Medical silicon adhesives are now being used because they don't seem to cause dermatitis in patients. We are now recommending the theatrical makeup suppliers who sell this in place of spirit gum which is a skin killer.
I'm looking for a chemical-splash type laboratory safety goggle for an individual with sensitive skin, who has experienced a contact allergic skin reaction when wearing goggles in the past. Is anyone aware of a goggle that is =E2=80=98hypoallergenic' or, based on your experience, less likely to cause skin/allergic reactions? Thanks,SJM*******************Steven J.
